Lejla Mehmedovic joined the Cabinet of the Minister for Foreign Investments, Mr. Vele Samak in January 2010, as an Analyst. She holds a BSc in E-business at Faculty of Economics, University of "Ss. Cyril and Methodius" - Skopje. Under the BASILEUS student exchange scholarship of the European Commission, Lejla has been studying the final year of her studies at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Prior to joining the Government of the Republic of Macedonia she had working experience at Clear View BTC in the Marketing and Sales department involved in promotion and sales of business trainings. Throughout the studies in Slovenia, Lejla was an intern at The Slovenia Times in Ljubljana, as part of the marketing department. During 2008 and 2007, she broadened her practical knowledge in the role of an intern in the Internet product development area at Makedonski Telekom AD and Vitalia - healthy food company.
As student she was an active member of AIESEC, attended many students seminars and conferences (European summer school in Cherbourg, France 2008; ISUM 2006, and etc.) and competitions (BCC 2009, Sub-competition in Slovenia and Finals in Vienna, Austria) through which she proactively broadened her knowledge base in business and economics.
